My latest film contains a few scenes where the main character plays on an MPC. MPC stands for music production center and it was invented some 20 years ago by a dude named Roger Linn for Akai. More on the history here. Below is a video of legendary producer Pete Rock demonstrating how he uses one.

Thursday, January 20th, 2011Working on a project that partially takes place during the LA Riots in Los Angeles. Man I remember that time like it was yesterday even though I was only a kid. Those times were crazy! That was the first time I ever saw an M16 and the last for that matter. I was afraid to even look at the national guard because they looked just as afraid as I was. Crazy times. Can’t wait to bring it to life again! Stay tuned!
